Absolutely love this place. Been coming here for over 20 years and I love that the place has stayed relatively the same. Even the prices! You'll find things here you can't get anywhere else. One of my favorite places to spend an hour or two just perusing and trying different things.

Dropped by again as I needed some fresh vegetables. A bag of small Avacados for two bucks, a bag of Ramen noodles for $1.00. It's harder to go wrong if you're a good shopper!

The only place in Atlantic County for these groceries. Tofu and noodles are reasonably priced. Fresh fish counter adds that Asian open market feel (the smell reminds me of the markets in Thailand and Laos). Fresh pork counter for all your pork needs (you can see them cutting and packing all day). Mochi and Asian sweets with wide selection areavailable. , All kinds of dried fruit, fungus, seeds for sprouting, and fresh produce in abundance. The kimchi is authentic and good (from a NY producer).

The store has a wide selection of fruits and vegetables. You can find vegetables on packages that are very reasonably priced but be careful as some might be over riped or vegetables has to be consumed immediately. Wide array of meat and seafood. The store is a bit crowded and needs some tidying up and organizing.

My go-to joint for persimmons, mangoes, dragonfruit, miso, gochujang, sweet red bean paste 팥소, mochi, soba, squid, bok Choi, and sweet Thai chili. Honestly, my ONLY joint for all things Asian. Ain't gettin' none of that anywhere else around here. Reminds me of the street markets in Korea. And there's a great noodle house in the back. I have something else for you... I fell in love with Korea when I was stationed there... the people, the music, the land. And the food. Sweet red bean paste was at the center of that whirlwind love affair that lasted only one year. Then my heart was broken. Let's learn about "sweet red bean paste." I would always say, "Dan Pat." Korean, pat (팥, Vigna angularis) contrasts with kong (콩, "bean"), rather than being considered a type of it. Kong ("beans") without qualifiers usually means soybeans. As so (소) means "filling", the word patso (팥소) means "pat filling", with unsweetened dark-red paste as its prototype. Dan (단, "sweet") attached to patso makes danpat-so (단팥소), the sweetened red bean paste, which is often called danpat (단팥; "sweet pat"). Geopi (거피, "hulled, skinned, peeled, shelled, etc.") Attached to pat makes geopipat (거피팥), the dehulled red beans, and the white paste made of geopipat is called geopipat-so (거피팥소).
